Whitebeards flag anime version manga version has a manju behind the skull (Swastika) so in the anime they made a diffrent flag to avoid confusion with the Nazi Swastika well i like the anime wersion better sooo....

yes you right it DOES look like a Swastika. But there has been a version that did have a Swastika on it.
